RULES 11v11
FIFA RULES APPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS
1. SUBSTITUTIONS   Unlimited substitutions at midfield with the knowledge of the referee during any dead ball situation.
2. PLAY TIME   30-minute halves/5 minute halftime. Finals taking place on the 3rd day of the tournament, finals will be allowed to be 35 min halves include two 10 min over time but 9 vs. 9 instead of 11 vs. 11.
3. PLAYERS   Team must have at least (7) seven players to avoid forfeit. There will be a 5-minute grace time to the scheduled kickoff.
4. ROSTER   There is NO limit to the # of players you can roster. However, adding players to the roster after a team has played their second game is NOT allowed.
5. CONFRONTATIONS   Violent behavior will NOT be tolerated. Any physical confrontation or aggression will disqualify the player or team for the rest of the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS/NO REFUNDS.
6. TIE GAMES   During bracket play, tied games will remain as a tie. During play-offs, there will be a series of 3 penalty shots from 12 yard mark. If score remains tied: sudden death penalty shots. Penalty takers must come from the field of play first. The finals taking place on the 3rd day of the tournament will be allowed to be 35 min halves include two 10 min over time (schedule & weather allowing). The over time will be 9 vs. 9 and not 11 vs. 11 in order to try to break the tie.
7. RED CARD   If a player receives a red card, he/she must sit out the rest of that game and the team may not substitute for that player. Red cards do not carry over to the next game unless the card is for excessive violence or for excessive verbal abuse to a referee or an opponent. Excessiveness will be determined by the referee and the tournament director who have the last word.
8. REFEREE   The referee(s) has the final say in all matters of the game. The tournament director has the final say in all matters concerning unexpected incidents or unusual situations relating to games or the rules.
9. COED RULE   Each team is required to have a minimum of 5 women and 5 men on the field at all times. The goalie can be of either gender.
10. GIFTS OR UNDER AGE   In the older categories, teams are allowed to have ONLY 2 under age players. These players can not be more than 2 years younger and these players are to turn the required age by December 31st of the current year.
11. NO SLIDE TACKLES   In order to minimize the risk of injury in older divisions, players will not be allowed to slide-tackle each other (dangerous play). This is not to say that a player can not slide to save a ball or to even score when everyone else may be at a safe distance. If there is a discrepancy in opinion, it is the referee's call whether somebody was tackling another player or not.
